LOVE MATTERS

Hi everyone! Love they say makes the world go round and how true it is. The recent xenophobic attacks in South Africa, has bothered me a lot. It brought to remembrance the genocide that happened in Germany targeted at the Jews and in Rwanda amongst others. I remember telling my husband that the bible told us that in the last days there will be wars and rumors of wars, and that the end time was here. I remember thinking there was something I was forgetting. Then it hit me, he spoke of rumors of wars in the scripture as the love of many waxing cold. Wow! As essential as air is to life, so is love to living. Coexisting and cohabiting cannot be done without love. A lack of love is responsible for wars, brutality, abuse and all inhumane things you can ever think of. Most serial killers were discovered to have had loveless and traumatic childhoods. Does this tell us something? We need a change in our country and environment but the change will not happen when we talk about it alone. Change can only occur when you and I do the little we can in our sphere of influence. The future is dependent on the success of the family. As a mum, do you show your children love and instil love for others in them, or do you instigate them against their father and your neighbors? Do you take out the time to do random acts of kindness just for the sake of doing it or do you avoid the person that needs your help like a plague? Remember, the foundation of our faith is love and we must be the embodiment of love that our father is. Find a way no matter how small it is to show love to your fellow human being and who knows, you might be contributing to a more peaceful new century...if Jesus tarries. Stay blessed. Banke

HE MAKES ALL THINGS BEAUTIFUL.......

Hi everyone! One of my favorite quotes of all time is found in scripture. “ He makes all things beautiful in his time” King Solomon. True to form, the term ugly duckling....is a direct example of this quote. Things that are termed ugly are usually in its teething phases. Going through the fire is never pretty, but whatever withstands the fire comes out pretty a la gold. One very obvious example is the transition of a larva to a butterfly. the process involves some pretty ugly steps but the butterfly is one of the prettiest insects of all times. A very very encouraging tale. Whatever it is you find yourself doing, do not despise the times of little beginnings. Give it to the lord, nurture it, endure the “ugliness”, for sooner than you expect, the glorious beauty the Lord has set out for you will be manifest and revealed for the whole world to see. Hello everyone!

Its so good to be here again. The other blog page had issue that I was unable to resolve, hence the new one.

Like I said earlier in the month on our facebook page, this month we will tackle issue that have to do with a problem spot in our homes and I hope we have all begun to address one or more of such spots. I will be posting a progress report on mine.

Today, I will be keeping a promise i made over a week ago and will be making printable household chore and menu schedules available for download. I hope you find it makes your life a little easier.
